- The Electromagnetic Sense
11:00 AM-3:00 pm
Dansk And, Havnevej 8
The Electromagnetic Sense is a wearable instrument that allows the wearer to
experience surrounding electricity and electromagnetic waves as it was a part of their
own tactile sensory system. It is a part of a series called Self-Sensory Instruments that invite the audience to introspect their senses and sense of self. Existing in various forms, the instrument-series aim to alter the wearer's perception of themselves, their environment, and draw attention to subtle details of everyday life that are often overlooked. At Struer Tracks, the audience will be invited to wear the Electromagnetic Sense and guided to explore the town with their new sense.

- A Celebration of Missing Sounds
4:00 pm
Dansk And, Havnevej 8
“A Celebration of Missing Sounds”,  is thought as an augmented sonic space, especially composed for the biennial. The sounds melt with the surroundings, as you could almost not hear them. But still, here they are. The composition is a way of healing, acoustically enriching the soundscape of lost sounds or missing voices.

Can synthesizers transmit emotional energy, the so-called “eloptic energy”? Can
we consider improvisation as a way of conversing with our synthesizers? - and
can we build synthesizers in the future based on the understanding of eloptic energy?
Thoughts about esoteric engineering, deep listening and the aesthetic of
electricity.
Followed up by a presentation of the ENNER synthesizer project.

Marie Kølbæk Iversen
- Donnimaar. O Tilli
00:00-00:45 am
SMK Thy, BUS FROM FOLKETS HUS AT 11:00 PM
In connection with Marie Kølbæk Iversen's exhibition "Rovhistorier" at SMK Thy, we invite you to a midnight performance. The artist will perform traditional West Jutland merfolk songs within her installation. The merfolk embody nature's inhospitable realms - underwater, underground - and cultures and peoples excluded from the present. They represent 'dead' spirits, haunting the living for life and revenge. Marie Kølbæk Iversen's Donnimaar project draws from myths and folklore of her Midwest Jutland home, collected by Evald Tang Kristensen in the late 19th century, including the artist's distant ancestor, Johanne Thygesdatter.
Free buses from Folkets Hus, Struer and return. Departure at 11 pm.
