- Intimacy of Lichens
11:00 am
Dansk And, Havnevej 8
Mélia presents “Intimacy of Lichens” where guided through headphones, the audience is invited to listen through the artist’s hands, with tenderness and gentle touch, as she caresses the barks and leaves around her.
Equipped microphones on her fingers, this close touch tries to reveal a certain empathy towards the non-humans around us.

- The Electromagnetic Sense
11:00-3:00 pm
Dansk And, Havnevej 8
The Electromagnetic Sense is a wearable instrument that allows the wearer to
experience surrounding electricity and electromagnetic waves as it was a part of their
own tactile sensory system. It is a part of a series called Self-Sensory Instruments that invite the audience to introspect their senses and sense of self. Existing in various forms, the instrument-series aim to alter the wearer's perception of themselves, their environment, and draw attention to subtle details of everyday life that are often overlooked. At Struer Tracks, the audience will be invited to wear the Electromagnetic Sense and guided to explore the town with their new sense.

- Jyske Monstre
3:00 pm
Jyske Råvarer, Havnevej 8
The choir Klang performs the work Jyske Monstre in connection to Ragnhild May's exhibition of the same name at the art space Regelbau 411. The haunting voices of Jyske Monstre sound the alarm - signaling our changing relationship with nature, our ecological responsibility and the dangers that can result from our neglect. Echoes of the past and warnings of the future, they ask us to consider what is truly monstrous in our contemporary world.

HMOT
7:00 pm
Jyske Råvarer, Havnevej 8
In this performance, Stas is revisiting the instrumental form of the quray, the Bashkir traditional end-blown flute, deflecting the focus from its conventional 'vernacular' sounds to the more artificial and synthetic sonic imprints through techniques like resynthesis and other experimental computer music techniques. This process allows both 'worlds' to interact, coexist, and adapt to each other.

Ensemble Midtvest
8:00 pm
Jyske Råvarer, Havnevej 8
Program:
Improvisation
J.S.Bach: Sarabande from Cello Suite No. 1 BWV 1007 arr. for solo viola
J.S.Bach: Trio Sonata No. 3 BWV 527 arr. for flute, oboe and bassoon
Improvisation
Per Nørgård: Whirl’s World

In this concert, Ensemble MidtVest links the established and new, underlining that the present "established" was once innovative. J.S. Bach, a Baroque synthetizer, experimented with forms. Similarly, 91-year-old Danish composer Per Nørgård blends avant-garde with classical elements for a fusion of listener-friendly and experimental contemporary classical music. While Bach shaped classical music's currents as its most influential composer, Nørgård's "Whirl’s World" takes "currents" literally. Ensemble MidtVest marries these pieces with improvisation, bringing classical experimentation to the present.
